Work will begin on replacing old pipe work down Station Road from Monday 15th May.
This is expected to result in some temporary disruption to the water supply, affecting Station Road, Ribblesdale Estate, Bridge End, Brooklands and the Almshouses as well as the nearby surrounding area. This is long overdue and necessary work which will help improve the water supply to all these areas of Long Preston, so the short-term inconvenience will lead to a long-term positive outcome.
