The recent freezing temperatures have brought about the possibility of frozen water pipes, which can stop our water supplies and even rupture the pipes themselves in extreme circumstances.
If you find that you have no water or a reduced flow on a freezing day, please do not contact the Water Trust in the first instance. Instead, please check that your pipes have not become frozen and, in the event that they have, call out a professional plumber – they will be best placed to help you rectify the situation without risking further damage to the supply.
